My name is Mirko Klemm, I am a freelance software developer since 2007.

Born in 1970, I am in software development since 1996. Working originally in the Microsoft sphere with C/C++, MFC and DirectX, my focus has shifted over time to encompass the most relevant enterprise software technologies of their time, like Java and JavaEE and has now reached container-based deployments using JakartaEE, Docker, React, and Kotlin.

It is not only, not all implementation, however. When I was employed, I significantly shaped the transition of a small software startup to JavaEE technology, from their previous Sybase PowerDeveloper and SQLAnywhere/Enterprise platforms. We then offered turnkey software solutions at fixed prices for the pharmaceutical, finance, and semiconductor industries. This is where I got extensive experience in team building, project management, and systems architecture.

For several years now, I have worked with the IT department of a German bank, in various projects in risk management, customer rating, customer relationship management, and document management.

This cooperation is soon to end. Now, I am open to new challenges and I am looking forward to interesting projects.
